    heartbreaking

"I purchased this entire set on my wedding registry. The rim color chips off. The plates, the cups the entire set. To say this is upsetting is an understatement. So after chasing who to speak to first the retail , then the company, I finally was able to connect with someone. What did Micheal Aram do? They sent me one plate. Obviously the entire collection is flawed. Which is why it is discontinued. You would think they would step up for a new couple, (especially since I had so many other items from them). I use the plates very occaisionally. My mom wants me to dump the whole thing. But again , it is a bit sentimental so it just is upsetting. . . . ps, they have the pics"

“There is a tremendous reflection of our own humanity in handmade objects When you make things by hand, somehow that energy, that tension, that passion, all gets absorbed into the object Objects are powerful They trace history, trace our passage through time, they capture memories for generations.” ~ M.
