- Hi A.J.! Great question. These canisters are perfect for things like candy dishes in a kitchen or living space, or even bathroom vanities to store cotton swabs. We wouldn't consider them airtight, though as there is no air blocking mechanism, and wouldn't suggest storing anything perishable in this canister. Hope this helps!
