Do not buy! These pillow shams are a SHAM!
"I was very much looking forward to receiving the Michael Aram pillow cases and duvet cover I recently orderd. The ginko print in white and stone looked gorgeous online. These are $110 dollar king size pillow shams in Michael Aram's ginko bedding line yet the quality is horrendous. I just spent an hour ironing two shams after washing and drying them. I cannot get all of the wrinkles out to save my life. I washed and dried them with the matching duvet cover only, and took them out of the dryer before they were completely dry, to be able to iron them smoothly. The fabric must be terribly cheap, as it is impossible to get a smooth finish on these shams. I see no evidence of 300 thread count or sateen. They appear thinner than any shams I've ever had and I see no sateen finish whatsover, the fabric looks dull. The ginko print is lovely but this has been executed on poor quality fabric that cannot be considered acceptable by a "high end" line. I just went to place them on the pillows, first time ever, and one of the shams tore to the left of the zipper right on the seam! These are brand new, out of the package. They have never been slept on. I was simply placing the sham on the pillow and I was careful to be gentle. This kind of tear and the poor quality of the fabric are inexcusable at this price point. Michael Aram needs to up his bedding game, or just stick to making decorative objects like picture frames if this is the kind of bedding he plans to sell. Cheap, cheap, cheap. Definitely not worth $110! I am so disappointed."
