Thatch Ball

The Thatch pieces are inspired by the random beauty of nature, as interpreted through craft based design. Each pieces is hand forged and welded, with no two pieces ever the same.

"I was inspired by the sight of twigs and grass floating in a current of water, each blade of grass crisscrossing with another, and moving in a gentle circular movement. The piece illustrates the beauty and effort with which birds weave twigs into nests, and the poetic and unpredictable way in which natural elements gather, float, and move on the surface of water."
